Kobe.

markjasond:

  • 33years old
  • 16years in the NBA
  • 2x NBA Finals MVP
  • 9x All-NBA 1st Team
  • 14x All-Star
  • 4x All Star MVP
  • Most career points scored in All-Star game history
  • Holds 2nd best scoring game in NBA History with 81pts
  • 5x NBA champion
  • The list goes on..

There will never be another Kobe Bryant or Michael Jordan soon. When it’s all said and done, Kobe Bryant will stand among the top 2 greatest players to ever lace up a pair of basketball shoes.

I’ve been watching Kobe since I can remember.

Blake can have his highlight dunks, Chris Paul can have his crossover moves, and DeAndre Jordan can have his blocks. But when it comes down to it, the Lakers have owned the Staples center throughout history.

This game winning shot by Kobe is a reminder. He’s got ice running through his veins. Time to pay the rent, Clippers. He’s been the landlord of the Staples Center for 16 years now.

I’m gonna miss watching this man play when he hangs ‘em up. Definitely my idol.

“33 years old, 16 years in the league. But folks, don’t dare say he doesn’t have any tread left on that tire.”
